Went for Gold 4.5 stars for me by Cathi
I have had this app for going on 2 years. After using it for a year and having stepped up to a smart phone (finally), I decided to go Cozi Gold and I DO NOT regret it one bit. I love the shopping feature that automatically moves the items I have checked off to the bottom of the list. No more trying to sort through all the stuff on my list, if I checked it off, it is gone unless I scroll to the bottom of that list. Love the reminders and such. The one thing that could make it a perfect 5 would be to make it easier to do your lists on a smart phone. Right now, I prefer to make them on the computer as it is faster to move the items to where I want them vs on my phone. I will keep my subscription, that is for certain!

My main calendar, but... by Mim
I really like having calendar, shopping, birthdays (subscription), and all the stuff at hand in one app. It is the easiest calendar I have when it comes to adding stuff. Only 2 draw-backs: 1-The main draw-back is it does not share with any other calendar I have. It runs totally solo. I would love to have it as my default on my computer/laptop, but can't do it. So I have to transfer all the important stuff manually from Cozi to other calendars. 2-It opens with contacts every time. Before I got the "pay for it" edition it used to open with the last area I used. Not a huge problem, but contacts are not the first area I go to with a calendar. Love having contacts handy, but not my first choice to look at. Maybe there is a way to change that, but have not had time to dig and search for it.

Gf and I used to share grocery list. Worked well at first, but now keeps saying "you are offline. You need an internet connection." I'm on a smartphone w active WiFi and 4G... What more do you want? What takes 2 seconds writing stuff to a paper list now took ten minutes screwing with this app, troubleshooting, and eventually giving up. It started this mess when the "rate me" pop up showed up, and I declined to rate for the time being. Well, you wanted a rating, I'll give you a rating...1 star for no longer working.

The nearly-perfect family organizer app system by Brian
Works extremely well. Android App also available and syncs well. Meal planning is a God-send. Only think it needs is synchronization (not just importing) of Google Calendars and this would be truly PERFECT.
