Two steps back by OTHON
This new WIN 10 version eliminates the selection wheel. Now I can no longer choose different pen thickness. n tablet mode, the keyboard appears at random times blocking the screen, the insert camera option also disappeared. I used to love using One Note touch, what happened? Why fix it if it wasn't broken, it used to work great before.

It won't open by Holley
It will not let me even open the app. When I try, it gives me the option to either upgrade or close the app, nothing else. When I hit upgrade it closes and nothing else happens. This is ridiculous. I'm a college student and loved the old version because it worked perfectly for me and now I can't access my notes except for online. Note that its hard to get a good internet connection on many college campuses.

Windows 10 OneNote is terrible by Garret
OneNote on Windows 8.1 was outstanding and I truly loved the color wheel that allowed users to easily switch between different colors and sizes while handwriting. Handwriting on the new version is not as it should be and there should be an option to gain access to the beloved color and size wheel!

DECIMATED in Windows 10!!!! by B.
This was super useful on the SP3. Windows 10 removed the radial menus, making everything slower and more cumbersome to access. You can no longer change pen thickness, you can no longer take pictures straight from OneNote, you can no longer make the notes true full screen, and the palm rejection is being wonky. This was a TERRIFIC program, it has been carelessly ripped apart and NO ONE AT MICROSOFT SEEMS TO CARE. I have not received a single meaningful response from all my feedback, and I doubt anyone else has either. This is ridiculous. I have to switch back to 8.1 or start taking notes on paper again. I spent 2 grand on a Surface Pro 3 because of this functionality. FIX IT.

Mostly a downgrade! by Jesus
##10/31 Still some problems ## 8/19 update: It opens in non Tablet mode, but NOT in TABLET mode, please give us back the Win 8 version!!## PLEASE bring back the RADIAL MENU!! This was a genius addition to the Win 8 v, but it is missing in the new v.! Even other great Win 8 apps adopted it! (e.g., DRAWBOARD) This is how some square-headed manager deals with ingenuity!?? PLS BRING IT BACK!! Why forcing us to have a ver. like the one for iOS??? PLEASE increase the USABLE screen real-state by getting rid of the top ribbon! This section is not functional at all. SOMETIMES the program does not open properly, only shows a section of the menu and screen. Pls. FIX!!! Little by little, the newer versions are improving upon the HORRIBLE SUB-BETA product that replaced the great OneNote WIn8 v. This was a blow for SurfacePro users who learned to like their product because OneNote Win8. This Win10 version is a downgrade for users who embraced the Win 8 version.

Old version was better by Sammy
The old functions I feel were quicker to access with the wheel when changing pen colors and whatnot. This new interface doesn't give you a lot of options to choose from or explain where some of the old functions went. For example, pen thickness. Where did the option for that go? It will tell you your pen is thin but no option to change it to medium or large thickness. Most importantly, IT DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE. When I try to change notebooks/pages, it freezes. Hitting the menu on the top left doesn't work, I can only scroll back to my recent pages, which is a hassle for someone with 100's of pages. Restarting the computer doesn't work. You cannot uninstall the application so I guess all my notes are stuck unless I use the even more inferior desktop version.

Lost Functionality and Features by Michael
The OneNote Metro App in 8.1 is a great tool and very well designed. Unfortunately this changed for version 10. The keyboard constantly flies open when interacting with the screen through touch. The tool bar takes away valuable real estate and is not as functional and accessible as the fly wheel. I hope there is a way to install the old version on Windows 10 otherwise I will revert back to Windows 8.1 and will continue to run Windows 8.1 on all mobile devices in the organization.
