Phonetic Keyboard

APP for phonetic transcriptions IPA and pronunciation exercises valid for languages (and dialects) of the world. At startup, the program opens a fullscreen window, composed of 4 parts. - Menu bar - Writing box - Touch screen keyboard, used to write and play phones - Pop-up bottom app bar The touch screen keyboard groups the consonants to the left and the vowels to the right, as in the IPA (International Phonetic Association) standard. The vertical and horizontal labels indicate the place of articulation and the way in which the phones are spelled. Each key can write a symbol (phones, diacritics, suprasegmentals) in the text box and, optionally, play the associated sound of the human voice . The spacebar write a blank space which is spelled as few seconds of silence. Is possible to play all the phones written, too. In this way the sound reproduction let the user check if the phone is right or not. The phonetic keyboard permits to write the phones of the human languages more exactly than the traditional QWERTY keyboard, in which the characters are randomly put without any logic and in which to write certain characters combinations of several keys are needed. The phonetic keyboard ca be used in schools and universities, by students and teachers (to prepare and carry out linguistic exercises), and in science by researchers or enthusiasts to study and preserve any language or dialect. Moreover, the acoustic functions of the keyboard may be used in logopedics, to analyze and cure phonological disorders. Any comment and advice to make a better product is really appreciated
