It helps you to encrypt/decrypt files (photos, docs, etc), whole directories or just plain text. It is designed for really paranoid people, because you can specify your own combination of ciphers (and key sizes). Wanna encrypt with 3x AES then Serpent then 2x Camelia? As you wish!
