Dieting can be difficult. Your body is highly efficient and your metabolism unique. A small surplus in your daily food intake can snowball over time to create a weight problem.
Eat half an apple a day over your needs and it can add up to 2.4kg (5.3lb) over a year. Do it for a decade and you could be facing obesity.
