WiFi Dashboard

This should be a standard app on all Windows devices.

What a simple way to know whether your connection is safe. I am always on public wifi and never know for sure if I am on a secure connection. The WiFi Dashboard app is a great way to stay informed so I can be sure that I am working or surfing online safely.

To all those who should know better: 127.0.0.1 is the loopback Internet protocol (IP) address also referred to as the localhost. The address is used to establish an IP connection to the same machine or computer being used by the end-user. Tells you when you are on an unsecured WiFi connection, what the risks are and how to protect yourself.

It doesn't always recognize my WiFi. It says that I'm not connected when I am.

It doesn't display the correct IP address, just looks like a generic address of 127.0.0.1. Definitely not my address. Doesn't really show anything useful or really do anything.

Did not detect what my IP was. Showed 127.0.0.1 as my IP address, can not trust a program that can not grab the proper IP.

Won't let me use it
