Avast Antivirus Download Center

Years and years using this software, I like it and lots of friends and family are using it too. If your computer is infected it goes straight to the base of your O.S. and kill the virus. Love it !

It is free. At the top, where it says "free download" under "Avast Free Antivirus" is what you click. The other products they offer are pretty awesome if you want more protection, but they cost $. Seems fair to me. And the free product is great for basic protection. I'm using an Asus flip-top. No problems installing or using.

This app does nothing. I love the antivirus software, however this app only installs something that will allow you to go to the Avast website to download it directly.

I have the Avast free antivirus on my desktop computer and it works great (except for tryng to get me to upgrade to the paid version several times a day). When I tried to install it onto my ASUS Windows Tablet, clicking on install kept redirecting me to a site to download the paid version of McAffee! This has happened half a dozen times, and I was totally disgusted. I finally got it to install, while swatting at ads for unwanted programs from other companies throughout the installation process.The Play Store for the ASUS is horrible when it comes to installing programs that redirect to unwanted sites. Yes, I know "free programs" have to get paid for somehow, but I think it should be because one appreciates the value of the freebie and decides the developer is worth paying, rather than because the consumer is blackmailed into buying something they are not sure they want.

It is the best antivirus on the market. Very efficient and easy to use. Would definitely use again and again.

Had an issue with my computer, ran this software and it couldn't find anything. Not a big deal, tried to uninstall it to try something else but Avast wouldn't have any of that. Now it refuses to uninstall itself and there's no easy solution here which is ridiculous. It's become a parody of itself.
