There are 24 different categories of sounds to select from. Within each category you can choose to add subtle sounds. For example, in "music box" you can add subtle piano in the background. In "ocean" you can choose to add whale sounds. There is a sleep timer and the clock is displayed. I have tried several sleep sound apps and Sleep Bug Pro is worth the purchase. Pair your phone to a Bluetooth speaker and take really get lost in the sound. Not only for sleep, you can meditate, study or have white noise in the background to help concentration. Works perfectly on my Nokia 1520 (8.1 Denim).

Excellent selection of mixers and sound effects. You can even set times so it'll turn itself off. If you would like to figure out if it's worth purchasing, look at the regular Sleep Bug app first. One issue with the app is that it won't run in the background - you can't, for instance, turn it on and then go navigate away to read your emails or something. The sound will cut out. It's perfect otherwise.

This is one of those apps that fill a gap or a function that I didn't knew I had. It creates ambience when I'm studying, helps me concentrate, helps me sleep well or just helps me get ready for the day. It really is a well done app. The HD sounds are really natural and there are a lot of options. Keep it up developer. :) Oh and if you could add the ability to use other apps while the sounds play in the background then that would make things perfect.

Highly recommend this sleep sound app. It has almost every relaxing sound anyone could hope for. The only theme lacking is a lake lapping against the side of a boat with a loon calling in the distance and the occasional frog jumping in the water
