The most beautiful Notepad app in Windows Store by Vincentius
This app works beautifully both in PC and Mobile. To make it works even better, this app can use syntax highlighting for programming languages. Besides that, add an option to automatically open recently saved file when opening the app instead of just creating new blank text file. I am looking forward to seeing this app evolves to be as powerful as, or even more powerful than, say, Notepad++ or Sublime Text. Imagine having such a powerful app in Windows 10 Mobile devices.

Best modern text editor I've tried on Windows 10 by Gary
Wonderful implementation, well designed, attractive, and with thoughtful features like spell checking built in. Also works on Windows 10 Mobile! Only problem I've noticed is that it does not prompt you to save changes if you close the app while editing. Still giving 5 stars to encourage the developer to continue improving it. Will consider donating if this is fixed.

NotepadX by Thomas
The best "simple" text editor I've come across. Tried many over the years (to replace Notepad), both traditional and Store apps. Visually it's just about perfect! New: Fluent design implemented! Love the Darker theme, clean and simple (textless) toolbar icons, search and replace, as well as encoding options, tiny info (row, characters, size). Even the "file type" icons are exceptional (set as default app for a file type). Awesome freeware, in fact it's well worth a purchase or donation. Thanks Mr. Kohn.

A perfect fit by Aaron
I've seen a lot of text editors in the store, but this one is the first one that feels like it fits into the Windows 10 stratosphere perfectly. Keep up the good work!

Good and free and no adds!??? by Amjad
Simple and easy to use app! And with UTF-8 support, there are no problems regarding languages from right to left ( in my case, Arabic) or another languages.
