InstantPhotoBooth

I was so looking forward to using this program. I am a board member for a small not-for-profit, and we're throwing a gala event. We wanted to be able to let people take 1950's style photos. Thought the ability to use green screen would be perfect. I can't get it to work, at all. I've reloaded twice. I've tried every setting. I spent the full amount to get the most options. Nothing but the standard, default settings would work. Every time I customized it, the program failed. Lesson learned. Don't bother buying any of the add on features. They won't work. If I could give this a zero star rating, I would.

Downloaded this app to my laptop for a wedding, set it up to how I wanted it, tested out great and than when I went to demonstrate it to my wife it wouldn't work. I've tried everything short of uninstalling and reinstalling which I'm doing next. Very disappointed.

For Windows 8 and 10 users, The canon slephy works for this app and works wonderful! Also there is an automatic printing solution without the problem of pressing the red print button then the separate windows print button. Ask the developer for the link. For the Selphy Printer. go on youtube and search: how to install Canon Selphy on windows 10, follow the step by step instructions and there you go! it solves most everyones problem here!!! It works I guarantee it, I run a business off this app and I wouldn't use this app for it if it doesn't work

When building my DSLR capable photobooth, I looked at ALL of the other options that were out there and I can honestly say that none of them matched the options and quality that InstantPhotoBooth offered at this price. I love the a la carte type of purchasing so that you only pay for the features that you want at the time. The program is easy to use, looks quite sharp, and my users have no problems printing to my 2 Selphy CP910 printers embedded in my photobooth. Though there are a few quirks to the app, I would say that practically all of them are due primarily to how Metro apps work in Windows 8. I'm not sure what problems the people who are giving 1 star reviews are all about and all of the complaints regarding the customer service. I've contacted Thane on multiple occasions offering suggestions for the current build that would make the program better and he has actually implemented some of them!

I purchased this app to use at a graduation party for my daughters. I installed it on a PC with a touchscreen (Recommended!) and set it up in one corner of the room. It was a great hit with everyone despite the crappy Epson printer I had attached. A simple Logitech webcam was all it took to get the pictures and everyone enjoyed it immensely. I also purchased the additional backgrounds add-on. Thanks for a great product! Keep up the good work!

I like this app a lot, I like that I was able to design a layout for my sons birthday, but I'm pretty bummed about the app not being able to print to my canon selphy.... kinda bummed I have to print them later, and hand them out, or mail them. But the app and features are great.

I see lots of photobooth setups using Sparkbooth. Having tried both, IPB wins hands down. The customer interface is way better, the layout options are fantastic. And the number of customizations released in version 3 is amazing. What may be the best though is the creator's customer service. I've reached out twice with service issues and his response has been fantastic. One even resulted in a quick software update to fix a bug. I see comments on here saying things don't work and they complain about having to purchase to unlock things. All professional quality photobooth software will charge you for features. IPB is reasonable compared to some of the others. And pretty much all of the features you'd find on a $300 piece of software can be found on IPB. All in all, a great piece of software that is great for the novice needing something for a party to the professional photobooth setup.

Great options and functionality! All it needs now is the ability to lockout users with a password from making any configuration changes.
