So happy to finally have LAN outside of events by Zachariah

For someone with bad internet, I can't fully express how much this is going to improve my H5 experience.

So simple its confusing by Scottsdale

Once the app is running that's it its done. There are a bunch of other useless buttons but just turn it on and it works. The game asks you to choose the server at the top of the match window.

Love the idea and excited but.... by Tyler

For real, 343, can you please make something that's not broken? haha I have no doubt in my mind that these things aren't easy systems to develop, but I really can't believe that with 5 other reviews, including myself, saying the same thing about this app being broken that you even tested this system yourself. It really makes me question your QA department. I will change my review once this is fixed.

why isn't this in the game? by Calvin

Bungie always made sure they re Halo games supported local play, to play with your buddies. What the heck 343 Industries?

Works fine, but could have some improvements by Nathan

For me, it started up fine. I put in the server name and pressed enter. Then the name disappeared and that was it. I was confused until I booted up Halo: 5 and found it listed under the server host in Custom Games. It would be nice to have a sort of "ADMIN" dashboard that came up on the PC screen that shows the name of the room at the top, how many slots available, and the names of people that join, with the ability to boot players from the server at will. Also, maybe a dashboard to make custom games (tweaking damage/resistance, respawn timers, infinite ammo, etc.) for quick on the spot gamemode adjustments. I will state that I initially thought that this would allow same console LAN multiplayer, something unavailable for the first time in Halo's history. I was slightly disappointed because I thought that having servers hosted by a PC would take the load of private servers off of a console and give it the ability to use that newfound power to have same-console multiplayer.
