CyberLink Power Media Player

After purchasing this app in order to play DVD's on my new windows 10 computer, I found out this would not play DVD's on it, as it says that the desktop version is not installed. Cyberlink requires you to jump through hoops and sign up with their website in order to receive customer service for their deceptively sold products, and as far as I can tell, there is no way to download a desktop version of this app. If you want a DVD player for your new Windows 10 computer now that Windows Media Player doesn't support DVD playback, do NOT buy this.

Why after paying 15.00 for this app do I have a friggin ad for the desktop version. I bought it to get rid of the add. There needs to be a refund policy. HATE IT!

Purchased the app and tried to play a dvd only to be asked for an activation code that was never provided. It wouldn't play the DVD and offered to sell an additional program. Waste of money!

Had to purchase repeatedly even though I had multiple licenses... bad business practices power

I paid for the unlocked version and it still SUCKED. I could not open any of my video files from my computer. I had an old HP which came with this app and it worked great but this SUCKS... THEY MAKE YOU PAY FOR SUPPORT for their shitty product.

I bought the power media player $14.99 they charged me but to serial number no Email no way to contact them maybe someone could help. thank you Jim

Trying to play a DVD on a Windows 8.1 computer with a USB DVD drive does not work (Windows Problem). They say to install an app to play the DVD. A windows store search yields Cyberlink Power Media Player. Problem NOT solved. Power Media Player DOES NOT PLAY DVDs! Over all a miserable way to spend and hour and waste $15 with the wife and kids waiting for the show. Thanks for nothing Cyberlink and Microsoft. P.S. If there is a way to play a DVD with this app, please enlighten me.
