3D Builder

This program is really nice. The UI is well designed and it is pretty easy to learn just by experimenting on your own. There are basic tools missing that would definitely make it so much better. One you can copy but there is no option to mirror an object and two it would be nice to have the ability to draw on a 2D plane and extrude it. These are basis functions that should be available. Hopefully Microsoft will address some of the short comings because this program has a lot of potential.

I love the simplicity, but I wish I could make new models... Is there a way to make new models? And if there was add-ons with more models in the windows store that ould be AWESOME, along with being able to save it as an image for those of us scene builders ;)

So now that my laptop updated to windows 10 I no longer see the option for Kinect on this app.

Useful and convenient. great improvement with the latest version!

It would be great if this program knew how to utilize on-board 3D cameras like the Intel RealSense ones that come standard on many Windows 10 machines. Would be much more natural to use and also justify the purchase of the camera

It is awesome that Microsoft includes this app for free - I used to pay for file conversion and mesh repair but now it is included in Win 10 and it works great!

Great program to learn on, with easy controls and a nice interface, but the software needs fixing BADLY. Exclusion is downright broken, certain objects cause the program to freeze or create weird misshapen extrusions, that make anything more advanced than the most basic designs completely impossible. Also disappointingly lacks the ability to transform objects by their points/faces/edges/etc. For example the Torus comes in only one inner diameter, making it almost entirely useless.
