    More of a Movie by Jon

    Giving this 5 stars because of all of the low ratings. I thought it was a good "VR movie". It really shows off the Mixed Reality headsets. Cant beat free either! Great Job, looking forward to more content.

    They have added more content, so I am updating my review. There are several fun options now: 1. The original movie thing where you just ride along on a Mars landing 2. A new option to drive a rover around Mars 3. A new option to practice landing in a hanger There are still a still hiccups with the controllers and only the left one registers any actions, but it is lots of fun to pretend to be on Mars and to try to get a good landing.

    Game needs some work. by Nate

    Just downloaded this and launched it for the first time, all I could do was sit at the main menu. None of the buttons worked, couldn't even get to settings or nothing.

    Amazing VR experience! by Chris

    De landing experience is a sight to behold. Epic visuals under *ear deafening* interstellar-like music. Watched it many times, still impressed. The landing simulator is fun, for 20 minutes, trying to get that perfect landing, but I found the curiosity driving sim a bit dull.. I'm looking forward to the docking simulator!

    I ran this on my Samsung MR Headset and enjoyed the 'Experience' and the Mars Rover parts the best. It took me some time to discover that the trigger button selected menu items which isn't exactly like many of the other VR apps I have tried. Since this is also available for a lot of phone-based VR systems, the 3D art is more limited.

    I will start by saying I like the idea of this app. The under construction buttons in the menu leave a lot open for future improvement. I don't believe motion controllers should be required for the experience that is available so far. Gaze would suffice to navigate the menu. There is quite a bit of subtle locomotion in the video portion of the experience. I don't have much experience with VR and it made me feel a bit funny. I don't normally get sick from this kinda thing but I could see many other users getting sick or even falling over during some of the scenes.

    Cool concept but physics/kinematics not right for MR by Robert

    Very cool concept and hopefully these issues are all porting issues from some other VR system. It only tracked my left controller. It only picked up rotating the controller for pointing not tracking the movement of the controller. The viewpoint seems to be 'tethered' to a spot on the object. So if you turn your head great. But if you move your head the objects move with you, but out of sync with the world frame. This was most obvious in the object explorer. When you zoom in on a subsystem the controller stays at the zoomed out location so you get an offset spotlight, and if you bob your head the object bobs with you but the room grid doesn't.

    Only spin movement by Thomas

    I am using the Acer MRH. I'm not sure if mine was glitching but I was only able to get head movement (ie gear VR/daydream/cardboard) this could have made me sick if I wasn't used to VR coming from full movement to this. Hopefully this was just a glitch and it will work better after an update or a restart but as of right now... I didn't even want to continue after a minute or two. It looks ok but why have an experience that is crippled in relation to what the device can handle.
