SharpBayes

SharpBayes is an expert system that uses probability manipulation as its AI engine. With SharpBayes you can create Bayesian Networks or Influence Diagrams that model real world business problems. Bayesian networks can calculate the exact probability of variables connected to each other. When an event is observed in one variable, SharpBayes propagates this evidence to all other variables in the network. Tasks like classification, regression, anomaly detection, prediction and diagnostics can all be performed using Bayesian networks. Influence Diagrams extend the usability of bayesian networks by incorporating the concept of Decision and Utility nodes. Decision nodes tell the user the optimal strategy (the set of alternatives) that should be taken in order to maximize utility (profit/gain) represented by the utility nodes. Influence Diagrams enable automated cost–benefit analysis with ease.
