QapSolver is a powerful and fast QAP solver that uses a state-of-the-art metaheuristic algorithm. It can handle any QAP instance, from small to very large, and find near-optimal solutions in minutes or seconds.
QapSolver supports two input data formats: QAPLIB format (see https://coral.ise.lehigh.edu/data-sets/qaplib/) or Excel workbook (.xlsx) with matrices A (distances) and B (flows) in the first two sheets. The matrix coefficients can be floating point numbers, but not negative.
QapSolver is very easy to use. Just follow these simple steps:
o Load matrices in QAPLIB format or as Excel workbook.

o Wait for the solver to run. The time depends on the size of the instance and your hardware. QapSolver uses parallel solver, so more cores means faster computation.
o Save the solution in one of the text formats or as Excel workbook.
o You can restart the solver several times and choose the best solution.
o You can also change the heuristic settings if you want to experiment with different parameters.
