DigiKana's Kana Table displays both Hiragana and Katakana in different fonts! Switch between fonts to see various hand-writing styles as well. Tap on the tiles to hear the true Japanese pronunciation of each character.

DigiKana's Quiz Mode let's you practice a subset of characters - select them yourself, or let our algorithm choose for you.

Quiz can be Hiragana => Katakana or Katakana => Hiragana. (or answer in Romaji if you wish)

There is a daily limit to the number of Quiz Rounds. Once the Daily Quiz Rounds are complete, come back the next day for more, or unlock KanaQuizPro for unlimited daily Quiz Rounds.

Difficuly level can be adjusted in several ways: - Turn off Voice query, if you're in a quiet place. - Show or Hide Romaji on the Quiz buttons. - Increase or Decrease the number of Quiz choice buttons. - Change the font to hand-writing style.

Quiz choices are carefully chosen to include some characters that may be similar looking to the correct response.

Some of the characters can look quite different in the different font styles. Recognizing handwritten font styles can be a challenge!

Quiz Results are displayed as a bar under each Kana tile. The Quiz selection algorithm will prioritize any characters you got wrong and show them more often while you improve your character recognition.
