WP Message Backup

Yes, plenty of problems, but when this guy gives up, we are finished. This is the only choice. Be nice and encourage this developer. Every other source says this task can't even be done at all.

I love this app but I hope you add a way to restore messages to Microsoft message app ....

Got the app to work finally. Apparently, if there is any issue causing you to be unable to sign in (incorrect username/password, etc.) or connect (backup off, etc.) then it just closes. Now that I've used it, I like what I see so far, but the app doesn't load all the messages upon retrieval. It seems to do it in random intervals. Also, the settings snap panel is empty. Add a prompt to explain errors instead of just closing, add the force refresh, have the retrieval collect and display all messages up to the time of refresh, and I would give this app 5 stars. As it is, 2 is the best I can offer. (UPDATE: Had given it 3, but it hasn't loaded any of my messages from the past 12 hours, although it says it's downloading them.) ORIGINAL REVIEW "Does not work." OS: Windows 10 The app opens, asks me for my credentials, I enter them, the app closes. That's all it does. Please fix so that I can get a feel for what this app is truly like and can give it a more accurate rating.

Slow, did not backup, took an hour to import everything. And im not sure if my passwords are safe now

I want this app to work so badly! It crashes and won't see any of my backed up messages from a month ago. It seems to have downloaded them all just fine up until Aug 5th and just stopped. When I try to export a conversation it crashes. Also, we need the ability to search threads with specific people. In other words, putting their name in the search box should only bring up threads involving that person. You've got a great start here. This is something Microsoft should have already developed. Android and iOS have had this capability for years. Please make this app work! I'm trying to use it with Windows 10 and Windows RT. It behaves the same with either machine.
