shuts down, clunky, high promise low delivery. but its the only one ive found so far that is a free download to pc

The App provides some BASIC info but is FAR from complete. A good example is 45 Colt. I use a Winchester 92 and was NOT able to select it as a rifle round at 100 yes no matter what category I selected. They definitely need to open up the variety of parameters which the 'calculator' provides results for. In essence all of this is fairly common published data and a few tables in a spreadsheet will give you FAR more flexible feedback. Use the big G search engine and you will find a TON of Excel file Calculators which are far more flexible than this

Just like others are saying, there is not enough information to get anything close to real usable data. There is not a wide selection of factory ammo to chose from, there is no way to select barrel length, there is no option for hand loads, and no option for bullet type. all of these things factor in to a ballistic calculator and I have probably left some things out. All in all, this is not worth that Data that it uses up.

Only limited to Winchester factory ammo. Better ballistic calculators out there

I would a program I can use on my tablet while at the range. The program is ok but not flexible. I see no reason why I cannot choose 200ydrs for rimfire or 100yrds for 9mm. No reason why you cannot put these values in. The math is the same a the restriction is artificial.

Launches but does not calculate the ballistics and then logs off by itself.

Cannot view ballistics graph for a complete view of drop statistics which is most essential. lacks a complete range of ammunition which is used in the field for big game hunting.
