Police Radio Scanner 5-0

I love this App, I keep it minimized while I work on the computer. Has all my local Police, and many more to choose from. A must have for what's going on. Even find out where there is traffic accidents and problem areas before hitting the road. Well worth the download, use it all the time. Its fun and informative.

I have been listening to this scanner for the past few days, now realizing that the feed for my local police is obviously recorded, because I've now heard the same stuff 3 times. Not cool at all. I thought there was a very similar wreck 2 times yesterday at the same spot, now realizing that it probably happened months back and only ONCE!! I was calling family members to give them the heads up about the accident down the street, and also when I thought it had happened again. Very embarrassing now that I am hearing the same stuff over and over again!! What is up with that?? 1 star

This app works like the Police Radio Scanner 5-0 app on my iPhone. I can sit at my desk and listen in to what the police and fire departments are responding to as well as amateur radio repeaters.

Love this app!! Real time scanner works just like the real thing. Highly recommend this app. When I can't sleep at night I turn it on and put in my ear buds and listen to what goes on around my area.

Great scanner and it's free!! Works great. People, you must understand that if your town isn't online, it's because there isn't a volunteer in your area with a true scanner capable of streaming the broadcast to the internet. Some organizations/departments transmissions are encrypted and aren't capable of being picked up on any scanner. This app. works great! Should you have a problem with "choppy" transmissions, static and such, it's not the app. The problem is with the scanner receiving the transmission, more than likely the antennae being used. Also, there may be a problem with the officer in the fields' radio. Enjoy, I know I am!!

It's an interesting app because you can listen to Police and other responders. It's neat to just listen to it for a while. You can also listen to Police in many different countries, states, provinces, and many locations all around the world. I think it's just neat that you can sit and listen to the police and other services with this one app.
