PocketBible Bible Study App

I just have the basic installation and have found this to be one of the best Bible apps I have used to date. The free bible translations are quite adequate for basic uses. Same with the study helps and other literature offered. The navigation was clearly tutored and is handy once learned. The settings and appearance options are varied and appreciated. I will eventually purchase the upgrade functions and a couple of translations that I prefer to use but for now am very satisfied with the Pocket Bible app. Update: nothing to add, still very satisfied! Praise the Lord for your app. Update 06/15/14: I recently had a change phones. After reinstalling the app, upon signing in, I found all of my content waiting for me. It took less than 20 minutes to be back to normal on my new phone. Thanks.

Excellent program! I read scripture a lot, and having a good program for my smart phone is very important. I've used PocketBible for many years and have no complaints.

The BEST Windows Phone Bible program hands down. Great integration of NASB and Strong's concordance, so I use this for study also.

Still has some bugs in the mobile environment, but I have used this product on the PC and it deserves a "5" there. I will stick with this on mobile environment because I am confident Laridian will prevail in making this an excellent product there.

I use my PocketBible app for Windows, paid version, every day. This is the only bible app I've ever used, so I can't compare to others. My favorite features are the Strong's concordance available right from the NAS text, the ability to highlight & take notes and then search according to highlight colors, the ability to return to the last text read and place categorized bookmarks as well, the automatic backup so that notes, highlights & bookmarks are not lost in the event of software or hardware problems, the availability & convenience of using study aides, the ability to customize font, font size & color, how the back button behaves, etc. On this note, I like the convenience of having the back button go through history, but I seem to experience frequent crashes with this setting. Also, I would like a quicker way to navigate within a book of the bible like there is within a chapter. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and love having my bible with me all the time.

The best app I've ever used. The ability to flip between translations with a swipe of the finger makes this a must-have during study and services. Navigating between passages is fast. I'm reading the next scripture in three translations while those around me are still turning pages. This is the perfect Bible app for any Windows phone. Thank you Pocket Bible!!!!!
