Works exactly as intended by Devon

This app functions exactly as intended. Huge Kudo's for the OpenSuse Team for bringing this to Windows. This app does require that WSL be enabled and I suppose adding that to the description would prevent the negative reviews. With that being said, those negative reviews should be removed since they reflect user error and not the application itself.

Turn on WSL before installing by Sri

Everything worked fine for me. Great to see improvements running Linux within windows env. Just make sure you turn on Windows sub system for Linux within "Turn Windows features on/off" app

    Suse development environment by Tyler

Despite the screenshots used, appears to be the cli based Linux distro environment just as the preinstalled Unbuntu Xenial with Windows 10. yast does have an ASCII based gui installer, so that's nice :).

Love SUSE, can't install on anything but C: from Store by Vincent

Love SUSE, but can't get it to install on anything but C: from the Windows 10 App Store. So this rating isn't a dig at SUSE, but at the app store. It says not enough space on C:, but the drive drop down does not include my D: (SSD).

Works great, if you know a little by Steve

    1. You need to enable Windows Subsystem for Linux (Control Panel->Prog&Features->Turn Windows features on->Check WSL->Reboot. 2. Install this Screenfetch shown in the screenshot is not a GUI, it's ascii art. You can install it via "sudo zypper install screenfetch" This isn't a full install of Windows, if you want a full GUI interface and the full Linux experience, install via dual boot, or better yet, use a VM with Hyper-V or other virtualization program. I had no problems with the "man" command, tested with vim, ls, dir, zypper, and top.

    No man pages by Steve

Installation of man pages is disabled by default. After spending an hour finding the config setting, cursing whoever wanted to save disk space the whole time, "man: pipe failed: Operation not permitted". root gets a blank page instead. Well, now I know why the man pages aren't installed. You can't read them.
