NewsgroupsRT

This is as basic as a Usenet reader can get, which is no all that bad. There have been steady improvements to this app. I'm finding it very useful for text newsgroups.

I couldn't get it to work with the newsgroup that I subscribe to. But Harald found the issue with the newsgroup and put a workaround in the NewsgroupsRT app. Now I have a very functional newsgroup reader app for my tablet. It has all the features I need for reading and responding to my newsgroups. It's certainly worth the nominal cost. And obviously, support is very good and improvements are continuing. Thanks Harald.

As a very basic newsgroup reader this works very well. Currently unable to click on URLs and go to the website or have any control over how messages are sorted or how many are displayed. It would also be great to be able to mark all message read. Overall though it works very well and is really the only option in the Store. Easier to use on the touchscreen than Thunderbird. Edit: Thanks for the great update. URL's are now working great and I am able to mark all messages read n a group.
