Messenger for Google Hangouts

just can't get a short video of my grandbaby to play on this app that my son sent, otherwise works okay!

I got played. Stupid app that doesn't even have the video chat option.

I don't like that their is a lot of ads and hard to use. I like using hangouts through google way better

Hangouts looks like a busy mess now.

I didn't have a lot of time (less than a day of use) to test this app before it started asking me for $1.99, but it worked well enough to make it with purchasing to keep adds out. I paid, but there are still adds flashing at the bottom. One is for a product that doesn't seem to exist, and the other for the Pro Version, which is what i believed i was getting for the payment. I'm going to complain to MS about this, and I'll update. Also, the interface looks just like googles, which means it isn't intuitive for Windows. Some more alert and sort features/settings would also be nice.

I have an iPhone but a microsoft computer..so hangouts comes in handy while on the computer. It ties everything I need into one place.

Good initiative but: not working without Chrome/Hangouts in background, witch is the whole idea. Even then still sync = erratic, contact list & chats erratic. [ did manual sync ] Sooo many ads, to be usable you need to buy Pro. You might as well just use hangouts.google.com Sorry, the way it is now= useless. Back to the dev. table guys. This app has potential. Good luck.
