I missed the part where it didn't work with external GPS receivers in the description so unless your setup happens to be one that works you will be lucky. They need a list of compatible receivers so you can see that info up front. I was no so lucky and the app is useless to me. My external GPS receiver is not one that works with the software.

I like the redundant backup to the Nav Net it provides, I don't like the clumsy editing of routes

It has a lot of info, but must be made from topo maps before lake was filled. Most lakes that I fish have 40+ years of siltation that change the bottom contours greatly.

Looks ok but the icons and print is not sizable. I need to wear reading glasses.

I'm Running this App with a GPS and it works fine. The App uses some NOAA charts and shows position in real time. I like it more for it's major inland lake charts that are not available through NOAA government sources. The zoom is OK but could be better. Some lake chart contour details could be better. Overall it's a good app and with a few improvements it could be a great one. Buy it and try it. It wont break the bank. One review stated that it didn't support GPS navigation but of course it does and it's stated so in the app's description. The app was meant to run with a built in GPS but I'm running it with a USB GPS and Sensor Com port program that emulates a built in GPS. I hope this review helps. Bottom Line I'd buy it again.
