Great App! by Neal
Free maps surprisingly good for rural British Columbia. Needed GPSDirect for my USB GPS dongle with Windows 10. Setup smooth. Update: I have now switched to the desktop cousin "Navigator 15 Free" from the same authors. Mainly because it has an option for larger fonts. A blessing for aging eyes. It also can access the USB GPS without using windows location services. Either of the applications blow the socks off the now defunct "Streets and Trips"

Ok so I downloaded this and initially was I pretty impressed, it had everything I expected from a NavApp... Except on thing, you cannot input the destination address, you have to go from state to city, to street (God help you if there are multiples stress with that name) then you put in the number. It makes it too clunky to use. If that could be changed then I might use this but for now I'm sticking with Here.

Can't enter an address and could use a better map, but totally unusable without the search feature to enter addresses

It's good but it hasn't nice UI by Mehdi
It's a good app but every thing in app is so big and I think they haven't harmony. It should use better user interface (UI)

Pros: • It's free of charge. And this free thing is limited to OpenStreet Maps. Cons: • A ton. Not even close to any paid navi software. Gosh, you cannot lookup POIs in a specific area unless you've specified a destination address. In Here Drive+ moving the map towards some area and typing 'Somename Hotel' in search would be enough to find the hotel. In MapFactor it's no way. Please specify Country, City, Street, and... sometimes even the house number. Wait! What if I don't know the street? I just know the name of the hotel. Can I navigate using Map Factor? Definitely no. Recommended only as a companion map. OpenStreet maps have a very good level of detail.
