Need some updates by My Linh
Hi. In general I'm quite satisfied with the app. However, there are two problems I think you should consider. Firstly, the app closes itself many times. And secondly, there are no Exercise files available on app, which makes it a little frustrating. Thanks.

Almost Perfect by Nicholas
It does a lot of things great. It feels native to Windows 10, it stays in sync with you watching videos on other platforms, you can download videos to watch offline and even pin them to your start menu. However, it has 2 features I'm missing: - Downloading exercise files - Adjusting playback speed. Hopefully these will be added later!

Cannot log in through organization by Charlie
Had hopes to be able to watch courses offline, but logging in through the organization portal does not work. The app only displays, "There was an error while logging in. (0)" Not helpful/useful for those affiliated with schools.

Smoother streaming than website, but some bugs by Aryeh
I don't have the fastest connection, so I sometimes had lagging when I used the website. But not on the app! The videos are fluid, and the overall layout is pleasing. But there are to 2 downsides: 1) It crashes sometimes. 2) Some features from the website are not available in the app. For instance, I'm a regular subscriber with no access to the exercise files, but some courses provide the exercise files to all users. But not on the app. The app refuses to give you access to those claiming that you have to be a premium subscriber. But on the website I have no issue.

OFFLINE DOWNLOADS?? by Darrah
I have a subscription with Lynda.com but I work a lot. The app says you can download for future viewing. Where does the download go? It doesn't ask me for a destination and I can't find them. It's stupid that I can't seem to find anything to save a videos from their website.

Lynda Rocks by Michael
One of the best learning resources around. I've been a member for over 5 years and the variety of topics is unrivalled to other similar sites. Huge inventory of topics.

Nice Layout by Ivan
The layout and access to the library is well thought out. Videos load fast and no lag, but the exercise file are not available which is a deal breaker for me. I'm a premium member and expect to have access to it. It's back to the browser for me.

Fantastic, and well adapted to Surface devices by Christopher
This is a great application--in the sense that the service itself is very useful, but especially in the sense that this app version is a well designed and effective way to access videos from the service. Full access to the videos on Lynda.com requires a membership. Without a membership this is, however well-designed, only a two- or three-star app due to the limited number of tutorials available. No complaints--Lynda's business is providing consistently excellent tutorials by subscription. For Lynda.com members, a few key differences between the website and this app: - This app supports offline viewing. (!) - Some app features are in the settings and menu--don't forget to swipe up and see what's there. - This app does not support accelerated playback, the video transcriptions (and the transcription jump-to-timestamp links). - This app does not provide URLs for each video, so it isn't quite as easy to share videos with other members.
