Here is my take.. WhatsApp is design for a phone, it also needs a phone number to authenticate. So for those people who complain that it doesn't work without a connected phone or they want this or that, then install it on your phone and you get to use it however you want.. Yes the web version is a bit better.. you have a few more options.. but this is an App.. and I am sure the developer is working hard to make it better. For me, I can use it on my computer without having to pick up my phone.. that's all ... Yes it would be nice to see a full app with all the features the phone version has but that will only come from WhatsApp themselves... Great work

If I have to connect phone why would use this app? there is perfectly ok website for this thing and that doesn't have any ads over there. If it worked without mobile connected the whole time, may be I would buy it! otherwise its of no use!

I was turned on to this application by a friend from England. I like the chance to talk to him and video chat for free. Great app. G-RICH
