Groove Music

Sorry guys, but the groove music pass was *the* defining feature of groove that made it an awesome integrated experience. The application itself pales in comparison to other media players, so now there is literally no reason to use it. 90% of the usage on my windows phone just died too. Killing off the music pass is single handedly the worst idea you have done since Satya took over as CEO. I'm very disappointed that you think pointing to Spotify is even close to a satisfactory replacement for the service you provided. I will be moving back to Windows Media Player since I have no need for Groove anymore.

I am a LOYAL Music pass subscriber, paying $9.99 per month since I purchased my Zune Music pass back in 2011. But this makes me really re-think where I'm putting my hard earned money. The app is atrocious. Everything does not "just work". The search bar always freezes the app, the "store" is awful, making playlists keeps getting harder and harder to make. I keep having to re-start the app since playing any playlist over 2 hours long freezes the app. Oh and best part of all, I can't even use the app while on tablet mode since NOTHING works. Can't swipe to select, can't press and hold to add, remove, set. Can't search, can't do NOTHING. If I can't have my old Xbox (Zune) music's flawless experience back, I'll be forced to look elsewhere to enjoy my music. It's not about the money, it's about what I get for it. And lately, it's been less and less.

great app where you can find all the music you'll ever want. however, it is a little expensive, and people like me don't want to have to pay that much for music. i completely understand why they make you pay for it, just wish it didn't cost quite as much...

I like the UI but the application is a lot of times pretty hopeless. Music stops midway, takes time for it to start playing music. Even sometimes when I click a song, it refuses to play until 2 or 3 tries. The devs can do better

I don't personally care about streaming from a third party service, because I already own most of the music I want. With Groove, I can stream from my own OneDrive account across all my devices without filling up my various hard drives or phone memory. I buy all the songs I want, formerly from the Microsoft Store, and now I've gone back to buying from Amazon.
