backing up to external drive by Mark
Works great for backing up to external drive. Works great with Windows 8.1. Used it to analyze and sync to my external HD, have be doing it manually but no more of that. I would like to see a simple log of what was synced, or not.

Beware if root folders is merely a drive by Gary
Sync to USB drive in Windows 10 causes confusion if the entire drive is being synchronized. It gets confused and starts deleting everything on the drive. For folders with many subfolders the one-way sync does not always work. I set up a folder pair and ran it successfully, but on a later rerun the program began massive deletions. The smart 2-way sync hangs up as it finishes in Windows 10. Program does not respond and must close it.

Great Job! updated by Roy
Works as advertised. Use synctoy on my win 8.1 machines and needed something for my Surface RT. This does the trick. Wish it would sync to a network folder without mapping. Otherwise I am happy with Folder Sync. Updated - logging and sync to network without mapping now works and works great. No longer using synctoy at all. One request - would like to be able to reorganize/sort Tasks.

windows 10 is not friendly to this app by Ivan
this app would be good if Windows 10 would let it run in the background. since it can't, you cannot set up automatic backups. it can remind you to back up but the only options for a 'reminder' to back up are daily and weekly. where's 'hourly' or 'every 5 minutes'? not for backing up critical, frequently changing data.

One Way Sync tool with potential by Falko
I am using this app on a RT tablet and I sync a photo library from a network drive. If you don't plan to modify files on the go this tool works good. Unfortunately it only has a 1-way-sync feature today. Additional features should be added by the developer as this app really has good potential.

Does Nothing by David
Doesn't do anything or deletes files for no reason. I made a copy of folder and then added 1 new file to the source folder. Instead of copying that new file into destination folder it copies re-copies a bunch of files that were exact duplicates and didn't need to be copied yet DID NOT copy the new file. So at end of the "supposed" synchronization the source folder still had 1 more file then the destination folder. I've avoid this app.....

Awesome by ashish
The only app of it's kind on the windows store to sync individual folders across network. Does it's job well. Hope the developer keeps up support for Windows 10
