What Windows volume mixer should have always been like by Aristides
Not only can this control the volume of the modern and classic apps. It has every volume bar separate from the master bar. That means that you can have the Master Volume at 50% and then setup the other bars, which will start from 50%. So if you then set app A at 50% it will be sending 25% volume(50 of master volume setting), while if you set app B to 100% it will be sending 50% of the volume (100% of them master volume setting) I love it. Easier to use and includes all apps, not just the classic ones.

What Windows Should Come with by Fiery
Seriously. This is what Windows 10 should be coming with. I'm so tired of the horrible audio control that we're plagued with from Windows Vista Days. Windows 10's audio management is terrible, horrible, garbage. This remedies a lot of that. Being able to individually change a programs audio level is amazing. Being able to change a bunch of audio sliders that we're usually not allowed to change in the standard mixer is amazing. The fact that it's so much faster to use this than to use the regular volume mixer is amazing. Take notes Microsoft, maybe hire this developer.

Cause my PC to get BSoD by A.H.
When I try to open this app, Windows immediately crashed and it keeps doing this every time I login now. I had to quickly navigate to my start menu to uninstall it before it gets the chance to start. The non UWP version of this app works fine. Right now I can't recommend as it does more harm than good.

The volume control Microsoft should have created by Joshua C.
This is a simple, no-nonsense taskbar widget that allows you to change the volume of each app or program independently of the main device volume. It perfectly matches the modern, touch-friendly Windows interface. If you have been frustrated by the clumsy process of right-clicking the speaker icon -> open volume mixer, and trying to adjust slider controls that were designed for Windows Vista ten years ago, then you will love this app. It shows the same panel as a single-click on the speaker icon, but adds a slider for each app beneath device master volume. This is a must-have app for media multitaskers, gamers, and power-users.
