Coursera Viewer

It does nothing. It shows you the courses that you are registered for but you can't download or view anything. Also, a paid with ads?

It doesn't work. I uninstalled and installed back. I want my money back. It doesn't deserve even this one star.

I put app in quotation marks because I am used to apps actually having a function of some sort. This waste of money does not. You cannot download, there is ALWAYS a problem with attempting to download content, and I'm not too sure they have permission from CourseRA to even make this app, which may be some of the reason it doesn't work. BTW, this app further depletes my trust in this Microsoft Surface, as this is just one more app that is nearly impossible to either find or get to work on this device. You would think that the company that everyone has modeled their software after for decades could come out with a tablet that was able to utilize all that software. Crazy. Also, the star was only because they wouldn't let me leave none.

It doesn't even launch. Shame on me because I didn't read the reviews before I purchased the App :-(

This app is very rudimentary. I could deal with that, because it lets you download the videos. But the videos play in a tiny, 1/5-screensize window, so you can make out the instructors' whiteboards or lecture notes. There are also no controls to control the video playback. And, if that's not enough, it was only able to find some of my classes -- it didn't seem to know about one of the classes I'm currently taking, so I can't use it for that. Its just three dollars, though. I hope the developer will make improvements and consider my purchase a donation to make it better.
