CamCard Win10

Clearly, the cards show the address, but it doesn't fill in adequately. Not much different than other card scan products. Can't export to Outlook or Excel where it could be imported into Sales force, Lotus Notes, Outlook or some other database manager.

The good news is that you don't need a scanner. You hold the card up to your webcam. Assuming you have steady hands and clean finger nails you get an image. On the PC version, you can't retake the picture. For that, you'll need to go over to the smartphone app (Android for me) and you can retake the picture there. Frustrating when you are sitting right next to a nice scanner and really can't use it. Okay, you can take an image with the scanner, then go fishing for it in your scanner documents folder assuming you set it up to take JPG's. It can't read a PDF, so you'll need to configure your scanner to shoot a JPG. I expected a little more editing power in the PC version, but really the smartphone version has more features. The good news is that you can sync the PC version to your smartphone. So between the two apps you can get closer to a nice finished product. All in all, some effort on the PC side would be appreciated. At least let me replace the image with a nicer one.
