I absolutely love this app due to fact that it loads quickly because there are no annoying videos and "mega" ads to wait on. It's uncluttered and straight to the point in delivering fresh, unbiased news in a variety of categories!

I like the local news, based on my location. On my 24" PC display the text is so tiny that I can't read the articles, but a click brings up the full article for easier reading.

AP has a long history of reporting issues before others and writing accurately and interestingly. The problem here is that the story font is not easy to read. It's too small, and there are easier fonts to read. AP needs to realize it has many older readers with vision problems, making it difficult for them to easily read the stories--and then do something about it.

There is no way to increase the font size, and it appears to ignore the "larger font settings" I use for windows. Vision problems, I my case due to age, are bad, but can be overcome with intelligent programing of the app. It is a great app, just seams the programmers are out of touch with all except their "perceived" audience.

After trying for day to customize my news app that came with Windows 10 (Which is NOT possible). I discovered the AP has their own app. Actual news is like digging for gold this app is the MOTHERLOAD.

As far as function, Metro design language and a Windows 8.1 aesthetic go, this is a wonderful app. It works well and is mostly intuitive. Still, I would appreciate a Windows 10 version.

I like that no ads are jumping at me and that it is real news stories. I like the way it is divided into topics (local, world,sports, etc. It was disturbing at first to have the screen scroll from right to left, but after using it a few times, it is OK.
