Smart Battery Monitor

Lithium-ion batteries naturally degrade over time, leading to reduced charge capacity compared to when they were new. Consistently keeping your laptop plug in to the power and a keep your battery charged to 100% accelerates this deterioration process. To address this problem, I have build this software to better manage the charging cycle of the battery that should extend the battery life. With the Smart Battery Monitor software installed on your pc, your can set the minimum and maximum levels for the battery. The lowest levels can be set between 0-30% and the maximum levels can be between 75-100%. This will allow you to fully charge and discharge the battery when as you please, however the ideal settings should be set between 20-95%. These values should serve to prolong the overall health and lifespan of your battery while reducing the need to replace the battery earlier. You can access the application settings by clicking the battery icon located on the bottom right hand side of the taskbar on your laptop. You will also get a notification when the battery levels reaches your settings and a popup message will be displayed, indicating that the battery level has been reached. If you don't have a smart plug device yet, you can enable sound notification. If you would like to make this fully automated and let the software handle the whole process, you can connect your preferred smart plug or smart wall socket devices by following the step by step instructions from the login screen by clicking the "?" button. By default, the battery will never reach its minimum level of 0% and maximum capacity of 100%. This deliberate behavior is designed to safeguard the battery from heat and preventing overcharging and overuse and degradation, however you are free to modify the limits when you want. If you are someone that are constantly monitoring your laptop's battery, you have found the perfect software for your needs. Install it, configure it and forget about it!! Your Smart plug device will be automatically switched on and off, and your battery will be charged as required. Life is to short to deal with a short lived battery, so give it a go now.
