This application supports JPG and JPEG files

Metadata: BMP files do not support metadata, specially the "Date Taken" tag, however, this is copied to the BMPs ‘Last Modified Date’ to provide an alternative view. JPG files support a wide variety of metadata such as the camera used, exposure settings, etc. these will not be copied to the BMP files.
