IO-Navigator-PC

Let the IO-Navigator-PC support you with your nightly observations. It offers a beautiful 360 degree view of the starry sky. The sky section can be changed with the cursor keys on the keyboard. It does not overwhelm you with countless objects, but provides an interesting selection of approximately 1200 objects.

Different data is available for all objects (different types of names, brightness, coordinates).

Interesting textual descriptions are available for many objects.

You can set which types of astro objects you want to see at any time in a button bar.

You are able to control telescopes via cable (for telescopes with serial interface from Meade, Skywatcher or Cellestron) or WLAN at any time. This works via WLAN via our IO-Goto-Wlan technology as soon as it is available (see the corresponding chapter on our website at https://io-astronomie.de).

With the help of our star tours you can take tours through the universe at any time and view their objects through your telescope.

In connection with this app, our license terms apply in addition to the license terms in the Microsoft app store. These can be viewed on our website https://io-astronomie.de/IO-Web/LizenzBestimmungenExtern2.jsf (only in german language available!). The provisions that apply at the time the app license was acquired always apply.

Important note when using Goto telescopes:

Please always watch your telescope when it is moving through our apps. We use the interfaces that the telescope manufacturers offer to control the telescopes. Some of these are flawed. It is therefore advisable to observe the telescope closely while it is being controlled by the apps and to switch it off immediately if there are movements that look "strange"!
