Our game is free to play and no signup is required.
The game's objective is to be the first person to reach 100 points. The aim of each player is to form melds, either as sets or runs and minimize deadwood cards in their hands. Cards are ranked from Ace, being worth 1 point, to 10, being worth 10 points. Face cards are worth 10 points as well.
At the start of the game, each player is dealt 10 cards, and a single card is dealt face-up on the table. The two players take turns either picking up the face-up card or an unknown card from the deck. Once they've picked up a card, they must pick a card from their hand to discard.
After discarding, if a player has 10 deadwood points or fewer on their hand, they're allowed to "knock". If the player chooses to do so, the knocker and their opponent have to show their cards, and the opponent may lay off deadwood cards against the knocker's melds.
Points are given based on deadwood points, with bonuses given for undercutting, going gin and being the first to reach 100 points. When a player reaches 100 points, the game ends, and the final score is calculated based on the amount of points acquired, the winner's bonus and the line bonus.
