Why guess when you can see what the dealer has Down Under? Down Under Blackjack allows you to se the strength of the dealer’s hand before you decide how to play your own hand. Immediately after the initial deal, the dealer will identify for the player a range of ranks for the dealer’s down card by moving the dealer’s hand into one of three color coded hand areas:
* Small/Blue (2-3-4-5) * Medium/Red (6-7-8-9) * Large/Gold (10-J-Q-K-A)
When the dealer's hand is 2 Gold cards, the cards are turned face up and exposed to the players before action begins.
Once the range of ranks for the dealer’s down card is identified, then its time for you to make your decision about your own hand…but only now this this added information to use to your advantage!
All hands PUSH against a dealer 22, except: * Player 21s always win against dealer 22 * Original 2-card hands (no splitting) with exactly 2 Gold cards win against dealer 22
With those exceptions, standard blackjack rules apply. Options vary by table, so check the table game rules placard and felt for rules, features, and side bets.
