The camera must have the latest version of “Smart Remote Control” app installed. Many modern high end SONY cameras are supported, see compatibility list. *** For stability be sure to update your firmware AND the “Smart Remote Control” app on your camera first *** Use the 1 day trial to test if your camera works. After the one day the app may simply fail to start, which is not a bug.

This is NOT an official app from SONY. It just uses SONYs official SDK. Though it has functional overlaps to Sony PlayMemories app, Playmemories sub-apps are NOT compatible with this app.
