Playing with Physics: Electric Field

"Playing with Physics" apps allow interactive simulation of select physics phenomena.

The "Electric Field" app allows you to investigate the movement of bodies in a homogeneous electric field. From the menu, you can choose the movement of a charged body (with selectable speed, mass and selected charge), the atomic nucleus (with selectable speed, mass and selected charge) or the movement of an electron (with selectable speed). The direction of the initial speed is chosen by the user. The movement is rendered in the animation in the type of field selected by the user – vertical plates, horizontal blankets and their combination can be selected. The user selects the voltage between the plates. It is also possible to add a gravity field. The application is supplemented by a list of the current values of the position, speed and energy of the particles. It also includes a motivational game.
