IV Infusion Helper

Intravenous (IV) therapy is the infusion of liquid substances directly into a vein. For the IV therapy at hospitals, computerized pumps are used by specially trained nurses. Performing IV therapy without the computerized pump at home is a non-trivial task.

This app is to aid HOME IV INFUSION USERS when they are given the following two numbers from the infusion pharmacy for a specific IV liquid medication: (1) Duration in seconds (2) The number of drops required to count for the duration.

This app gives a correct timing sound signal to adjust IV infusion drop rate., and the system is very simple to use. A beep sound at equal intervals will indicate the calculated drip rate, thus giving you an accurate rate for the administration of medicine. If too fast, you can slow down the rate of the medicine or vice versa until the beep sound signals and the drops are perfectly synchronized. There is no more need to look at your watch to try to figure out how many seconds should pass between drops!
