Mixing Big Room Course For Studio One 3

Everybody has their own approach to mixing. It’s like cooking, where every great chef has their own special recipe. In this case, our “chef” is audio expert Alex Solano and our recipe is for a Big Room track! Alex takes us through his Studio One 3 workflow as he tweaks every ingredient that makes up this dance music production "entrée".

The course starts with organization and grouping with track folders and takes you, step-by-step, to the master channel where the final sheen (the "buttery crust") is baked into the track. In between, you see how he squeezes the best sonics from the kick, snare and synths using very tasty compression, EQ and distortion techniques.
