Since it formed over 4.5 billion years ago, Earth has been hit many times by asteroids and comets whose orbits bring them into the inner Solar System. These objects, collectively known as 'Near Earth Objects' or NEOs, still pose a danger to Earth today. Depending on the size of the impacting object, such a collision can cause massive damage on local to global scales. The Asteroids™ application gives you the means to monitor the position and trajectory of all known asteroids in our Solar System. To achieve that, it constantly calculates and updates the orbits of more than 1,300,000 asteroids (data obtained from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory). For NEOs, the data is aligned with the 'Center of Near Earth Objects Studies' (CNEOS). Some selected asteroids (e.g. Ceres, Bennu etc.) are even available as 3D models. Besides that, Asteroids™ is a perfect educational tool to learn more about our Solar System.
