Description
RPN Scientific XX is a scientific Reverse Polish Notation (RPN) calculator based on the venerable Hewlett Packard 10C scientific calculator. It is free and does not contain any adds. It performs most of the 10C’s math functions but does not include the ability to be programmed. Users are assumed to be familiar with using RPN calculators.
This is the latest version of the RPN Scientific series. It has a 25 level stack and supports ten store and recall memory locations. It now has a "Last X" button, as well as "Clear", and "Copy" buttons. It now supports engineering format, in addition to fixed, scientific, general, and currency formats. It has a fixed screen size of 460x587 pixels.
Like the previous versions, it has a "tape" that records each calculation. The tape can be copied to the clipboard and can be cleared if desired. The app responds to touch, mouse, and keyboard inputs. Key codes are generally intuitive. They are listed on the setting page, which is accessed by using the settings icon at the top left of the display.
The app does not collect information about you or your computer. The statement under "Additional Information" below suggests the app can access everything in your computer. You can determine what access it really has by going to Settings -> Apps after it is installed. Select an app like camera that has lots of access. Then select RPN Scientific XX. You will see that it has no permission except for one Windows adds about running in the background. It doesn't need that one either.
