Kasa Smart Control Command Line

This is the command-line version of Kasa Smart Control by rewster.uk

If you want a graphical interface this is not the version you are looking for, search search for "Kasa Smart Control" in the store.

This allows you to create scripts to run on your computer to control your devices (ie nighttime, turn on lights and dim them, turn off devices at bedtime). This app does not work with cameras, only plugs, and bulbs.

TPLinkCmd is an App Alias (pointer to the real app location) so the path to the file is not required in your scripts, just use TPLinkCmd or TPLinkCmd.exe like the examples below. This will avoid breaking your scripts when file locations or code is changed.

Using your tplinkcloud.com account Kasa Smart Control allows you to toggle, switch on and off and show the status of TP-Link Smart Plugs (HS, and some KP) and TP-Link Smart Bulbs (you can set the brightness of bulbs that have that feature).
