PuzzlePOP!

PuzzlePOP! is the relaxing picture puzzle that's as addictive as bubble wrap.

Start with a single large bubble and POP! it into four smaller bubbles. Keep popping until you can make out the picture hidden beneath. Or just chill out and enjoy popping colorful bubbles, it's up to you.

There are more than 50 photos chosen at random for you to solve (and probably more in later updates).

The puzzle works by taking an average color from all the pixels that make up the photo. As you "pop" each covering circle you work down to smaller and smaller circles taking their color average from a smaller sample set. Like exploring images printed in old comic books, or old dot printers, try to find what resolution of dots you need to make out the photo.
