Spades is a classic trick-taking card game usually played by four players in partnerships. The game uses a standard 52-card deck. The goal of the game is to accurately predict the number of tricks your partnership will take and to earn points based on those predictions.
Each player is dealt 13 cards at the beginning of the game. The player to the dealer's left leads the first trick. Players must follow suit if possible. Spades are the trump suit, and if a player can't follow suit, they can play a Spades card or any other card. The highest-ranking Spades card wins the trick, or if no Spades cards are played, the highest-ranking card of the suit led wins. Teams try to fulfill their predicted number of tricks. Points are awarded based on how well they achieve their prediction. However, there's a catch! A partnership that takes more tricks than predicted will receive penalty points. Тhe game continues until a predetermined number of rounds or points is reached. The partnership with the most points at the end of the game wins.
