The easy way to resize (upscale) your MP4 videos to HD (1920 × 1080).
Just drag and drop your MP4 files onto the app, and it will immediately get to work rescaling them to HD (upscale or downscale)
This helps native HD TV's and monitors display without the need to perform local upscaling, and also allows native streaming from NAS and Media devices which is especially useful if they don't have hardware upscaling transcoders.
Please note that MP4 HD files will be bigger; a 700MB (720 x 306, 90 minute movie), upscaled to HD, could be around 10GB (1920 x 1080) for the same video. It also takes time, even on the latest GPU's (yes it used hardware GPU encoding) and SSD drives; it takes time to analyse the video and use intelligent upscaling.
So, what about the quality of the HD video, will it better than your little 720 x 306 video? - good question, yes and no. It's the best you'll get as the app will smooth the edges and intelligently work out all the colors and images, however, the principle of "rubbish in, rubbish out" always prevails.
