Infinite Scuba® – what is it?
A diving simulation game. Players do what real divers do - explore real-world locations, identify real wildlife, search for sunken artifacts, take photos, clean up the reef, manage air/depth, etc. Our mission is to enable people to experience being in the ocean, so they will be inspired to protect it.
Game Details:
· All of the locations, critters, gear, and science are real and reflect the serenity, beauty, and thrill of diving in the real world. · As players find animals and artifacts or complete other tasks in the water, they unlock knowledge rewards that tell more about the animal, plant, local history, local culture, and environmental issues. · We go to great lengths to ensure the integrity of the experience, working with scientists and divemasters who are experts in each region to make sure the dive sites are as real as we can make them. · The game currently features 2 dive sites: o Chuuk Lagoon: WW2 shipwreck Gosei Maru, in the Federated States of Micronesia o Glover’s Reef: a large, sloping site in southern Belize featuring whale sharks (available as an add-on) o Coming soon: an underwater park in the Salish Sea (Pacific NW), currently under construction · Available in English, Spanish, French, German and Hungarian · The trial version limits the diver to 30 minutes total underwater with a subset of the full game's features.
